This beautiful filly is from the first crop of yearlings in 2012 for sire CAPTAIN GERRARD, a dual group winning sprinter who won or was placed in 9 out of his 10 starts as a juvenile. A winner of six races and more than £145,000 prize money he is by OASIS DREAM, a sire of 25 Group winners. The dam Fontanally Springs was a winner at 2 and 3 and placed 9 times. Likely to be a sharp type on breeding she is currently being broken in and ridden away by Dave and his team. She is likely to make her racecourse debut in two year old maidens from April 2013.

Wildcard racings first step in to Jump racing… and what a horse to start with…..One in a Row was purchased at the recent DBS sales after showing promise in a Tipperary bumper where he finished third behind the Willie Mullins trained Pique Sous. He was formerly trained in Ireland by Joseph Hanlon and also has pointing experience. He made his debut for Alistair in a bumper at Perth shortly after being purchased and showed up well for a long way. He is bred to want a trip over hurdles and eventually fences. He has schooled very well and will start off in novice hurdles at the end of October with Carlisle a likely starting point. A horse we are hoping will give his owners some real fun along the way and well up to winning a race this NH season

This stunning son of Arc winning Dalakhani is the real deal.  At over 16 hands he is a strong imposing type that is bred to need a trip. He is a great mover with a long stride. We have so many options with him and would like to think that he will be a real Saturday horse. We are looking at some nice handicaps. Closely related to Zee Zee top and Izzy top his breeding suggests he is a proper horse. He will be trained by Richard Fahey who has trained one in the family before.

This colt comes to Wildcard racing with a great page out of Mrs Gray – a winner at 2 and placed 3 times. She has bred 14 foals (9 winners), including Moonstone Magic winner of the Dubai Duty Free Fred Darling S Gr3.  This colt has the potential to be just as good. A great walker and strong looking, he will fit in very well at Kevin Ryan’s yard. He is a great purchase bought at Doncaster sales in a very strong market in 2012.

Garzoni was purchased out of Sir Mark Prescott’s yard at the horses in training sales at Newmarket. She is a filly officially rated 60 who is going to improve with another winter under her belt allowing her to strengthen up. She is still very weak and will prosper away from the hustle and bustle of Newmarket when regularly turned out. She is very well bred and was previously owned by Cheverly Park Stud. Her best run was her most recent effort at Brighton over 1m 2f. By Medicean she is a very sweet filly who has an excellent temperament and is well up to winning handicaps in 2013. Given her pedigree she also has a future as a broodmare and this is something we will look closely at after she is successful on the track.

Henry Bee was the model of consistency in 2012 running in 13 races. Henry was only out of the frame on 4 occasions, he won twice including an impressive performance in a class 4 handicap at Haydock. Now rated 77 we have still not seen his full potential; a winter off and a good rest will see him back and ready to role as a 4yr old in 2013… the main plan will be Ayr festival in September.

Bought in August he has been running well for WRS without getting his head in front and is now rated 70. His handicap mark suggests he is ready to fire; David has found the key to him and expects him to be in winner’s enclosure very soon. Bunce (once with Richard Hannon) is closely related to Parliament Square of A P O’Brien’s. He is a horse that will get you to the races and will take his turn rewarding his owners with a win.

A great introduction into ownership… a small one off cost will get you to the races without busting the budget. Throwing Roses or Zookie as she is known did very well early part of 2012 but lost her way a bit. Her breeding suggests she will be a better 3yr old as her mum improved from 3 onwards. She is having the winter off and shares will be available from January onwards ready for some fun in 2013 with her. She will mature and grow over the winter, and will offer her owners some great days out racing for less than the cost of a gym membership

A great all-weather winter horse, rated 87 on the all-weather Woolfall will come in to his own this time of the year, Based with George Margarson in Newmarket we have a nice plan for woolly. He has had the summer off and always goes well fresh .If you’re looking for an all-weather horse he is your boy, strong and consistent. Off his mark he gets into some very valuable races, and with him being a lease only horse there is no up-front cost

This stunning daughter of Sleeping Indian won twice for WRS this year. She is out of Loch Leven and is closely related to the speedy filly Super Sleuth. Somethingboutmary is rated 70 and with 2 wins under her belt she already has great potential to be a broodmare. She was a winner on her debut in April and again mid-season at Lingfield. She will come on over the winter and become a very nice 3yr old.
